John Peel, das war auch so eine absolute Radiogröße. Was habe ich den gern gehört, mit seiner Sendung "John Peels Music". Der Mann war so was von innovativ, war der erste, der Mitte der 80iger deutschen Techno im BBC, und im Radio überhaupt brachte. Und scheute sich nicht, auch Bulgarische Frauenchöre einzuspielen (phantastisch). Aber so war er. Und ein Plattenladen, den er ständig in seiner Sendung erwähnte, war das Garageland in Duisburg-Neudorf. Dort bekam man alles, was irgendwie "schräg" war, auch die sülzigste indische Filmmusik, als die noch völlig fremd hier war. :Grins:

Das war noch die Zeit der alten kriminellen Death Row Records, Ost-West-Konflikt. Kriminelle, aufstrebende Neulinge die den Markt plattmachten. Das war in meiner Jugendzeit, die Videos waren genial.
Naja, zumindest bis ein paar abgeknallt und verhaftet wurden. Aber die Zeit war bekannt, da haben sich die Rapper noch gegenseitig erschossen, echt übel.
Jedenfalls sind die ganzen stundenlangen Musikvideos Kult. Heute sieht man nur noch Nutten in den Videos, echt langweilig geworden. Damals waren das noch Hollywood-reife Inszenierungen.

Die Zeiten unmittelbar danach waren auch noch gut, aber heute kannst du das alles komplett vergessen.

Die Tänzer, die einheitlich in orangefarbenen Hosen und schwarzen T-Shirts gekleidet sind, werden von Jacksons Choreograph Travis Payne angeführt. Payne und sein Team verbrachten zwei Tage in der Haftanstalt, um den perfekt synchronisierten Tanz aufzuzeichnen.

Das ist Bühnentanz, also Ballett. Da kommt keine Figur spontan, alles ist als eine Folge einstudiert wie bei allen Wettbewerben oder Shows. Ist schön anzusehen, aber richtiger Tanz ist für mich was anderes.
