Ein Kommentar eines amerikanischen Konservativen, der wie ich finde die Sachlage treffend auf den Punkt bringen :]
"There is NO Conservative case to be made for going to war against Libya. NONE!. ABSOLUTELY NONE!! Such a claim is totally absurd on its face. It is on a par with saying there is a conservative case to be made for declaring the United States Constitution null and void and declaring America a Califate. The author is cheering a thing which of all things is most foreign to Conservatism and to America, and totally out of place - the delivery of our conscience and destiny into somebody else's keeping, in effect, making us hostages of Muslims.
This is the totalitarian plan. The Kenyan Psychopath, Hussein, did not even get a bare majority vote in Congress to authorize going to war with the United States Constitution (I mean with Libya). There was not even a vote in Congress. We are attacking a country which posed no threat to America, let alone an imminent threat.
The author says, "... supporting the military as it works for the defeat of the enemy". This is absolute balderdash. Gaddafi is not our enemy. Certainly no more than is the Muslim world in general. He is the enemy of a bunch of fellow Muslims, most of whom are very probably much more followers of Mohammad and Shariah than he is. The author's claim that those who would replace Gaddafi want American freedom, or something like it, rather than "Khomeini-like extremist," is out of Alice in Wonderland. His claim that these Muslims are "liberty-seeking revolutionaries" (just like America in 1776, I suppose) is a lie so big that it would make Joesph Goebbels' face turn red.
These people believe in the Koran and believe that Mohammad is 'The Perfect Man' to be emulated in all ways as much as possible. They believe in Sharia Law (a dishonor and disgrace to mankind and an abomination and Hell to womankind). These things are absolutely nothing like American freedom, even the reduced level we have now. They are like, or even worse than "Khomeini-like extremist". They are like, or even worse than, Nazism.
