Speaker Nancy Pelosi ‘thanked’ George Floyd for “sacrificing” his life for justice after the jury reached a ‘guilty’ verdict on all counts against Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.
As reported earlier, the jury found Chauvin guilty of second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
There had been controversy over Floyd’s cause of death, since he had fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system, a heart condition, and COVID-19.

Speaker Pelosi nonetheless attempted to frame Floyd as a martyr. Floyd was arrested while he was under the influence of drugs for attempting to pass counterfeit currency. He died after the infamous incident with Derek Chauvin using a restraint on Floyd, where he kneeled on him for an estimated nine-and-a-half minutes.
She appeared at a press conference and made the ludicrous claim.
