Richter, Geschworene und Vollstrecker in einem. Die Interessen sind eigentlich klar, daher gibt es keine Objektivität. Nirgends. Soweit ich weiss war Gaddafi ein zuverlässiger Geschäftspartner, im Übrigen haben die Geheimdienste perfekt zusammengearbeitet. Er hat auf Nuklearwaffen und somit auf seine einzige Möglichkeit verzichtet, sein Land zu schützen.
Was ist daran nicht zuverlässig? In welchem Zusammenhang war er unzuverlässig? Kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Hat er seine Versprechen gebrochen wie wir? Hat er Verträge nicht erfüllt oder Auflagen?
Natürlich sagen die westlichen Regierungen dass er nicht verlässlich war, aber Beispiele bringen sie keine. Sie brauchen ja auch keine, haben wir ja gesehen.

In Europa hat sich seit den Römern alle Jubeljahre irgendein Herrschaftsgebilde neu entwickelt, schau dir nur die alten Karten des hl. röm. Reiches deutscher Nation an.

Chinesen sind unter sich so unterschiedlich wie Europäer, auch sprachlich -Und auch deren Reich wurde von Mongolen, Engländern, Deutschen, Japanern und den Kommies mehrmals plattgemacht...bzw. ne Zeitlang auch mal komplett übernommen

Europas "wechselnden" Reiche und zwar bis heute durchweg ALLE, haben römisches Recht, Bildung, Kultur und sogar Religion gemeinsam, sie sind alle, direkt oder indirekt, Abbild des Römischen Reiches. Auch die EU steht kulturell-zivilisatorisch in dieser Nachfolge...
(Das ältere Alexanderreich und seine hellenistischen Nachfolgerreiche klammere ich aus, weil die ja vor Rom bestanden)

Wenn das Volk es allein nicht schafft, dann schafft es das nicht. Und es ist ja nicht so, dass ein Eingreifen nötig war. Es gab keinen Holocaust oder irgendwelche extremen Vorkommnisse.
Keine Rechtfertigungen halt, welche ein gemeinsames Verbrechen der NATO-Staaten unvermeidbar gemacht hätten.

Sehr viel mehr als Tripolis und Sirte müßte man, sollten demokratische Werte universelle Geltung haben, New York, Washington, London und Brüssel mit einem Flächenbombardement zudecken. Na vielleicht wird Sarkozy bald durch Sozialisten ersetzt. Ich weiss nicht, das ist wie die Wahl zwischen Pest und Cholera.
Irgendwie stinkt das ganze System. Man kann es nur von innen zerstören, aber innerhalb des Systems kann man nur bestehen wenn man seine Moral an den Nagel hängt.
Vielleicht werden die Chinesen uns irgendwann den Gnadenschuss geben, die sind garantiert wie der lachende Dritte.

Irgendwer sah allerdings diese Gründe, sonst hätte niemand eingegriffen. Wenn es um reine Menschenliebe ginge, da gebe ich Dir Recht, wären andere vorher dran gewesen. Sowohl Saddam als auch Gaddafi wurden erledigt, sobald sie ihre Massenvernichtungswaffen abgeliefert hatten.

Ob nun blutiger Diktator oder Scharia Staat in Hinsicht auf den Humanismus ist beides gleichermassen eine Katastrophe, die Frage ist nur ob es überhaupt so eine Gesellschaft mit humanistischen Werten wie bei uns dort in der momentanen Lage möglich ist...

Please do not forget that in addition to the material and infrastructure distruction of Gaddafi's 42 year rule, the most signifcant crime is his human right record: the killing of thousands of innocent civilians, in prison, or as a result of torture, or deliberate mass killing, most famously the massacre at Abu Salim prison in 1996. Ich weiß natürlich auch nicht, ob der Autor die Wahrheit schreibt, oder auch nur echt ist. Allerdings wagt er es in einem Blog verifizierbare Angaben zu machen, in dem auch Leute lesen und schreiben, die diese verifizieren können. Das unterscheidet ihn meines Erachtens schonmal positiv von Schreibern, die hier einfach mal Libyen zum Schlaraffenland erklären, wo es weit und breit niemanden gibt, der dieses Schlaraffenland schonmal aus der Nähe gesehen haben könnte.
