Die Rebellen haben letzte Nacht einen weiteren schweren Angriff auf Sirte gestartet. Laut SomaliaSupport hat man die Rebellen an der Südfront in eine Falle gelockt und Dutzende von den Insurgenten getötet. An der Ostfront konnte der Angriff ebenfalls gestoppt werden. An der Westfront soll es noch Gefechte geben. Er hat auch gerade getwittert, dass Al Jazeera Arabic Live TV die starken Verteidigungsanlagen um das Stadtzentrum herum bestätigt hat. Zitat:

Väter,Brüder,Söhne,Schwestern und Mütter übernehmen also zum überwiegenden Teil die Verteidigung ihrer Heimatstadt. Viele davon, wollen laut eigener Aussage lieber mit erhobenen Köpfen und vorallem Frei sterben als unter der Knute der Rebellen zu Leben.Zitat:

Nunja, ich denke schon, dass der Iran durchaus daran interessiert sein könnte die Rebellen zu unterstützen. Belhadji, ein radikaler Hardcoreislamist ist doch bereits Militärkommandeur von Tripolis! und dieser hat bereits angekündigt das NTC nicht als legitimen Nachfolger anzuerkennen. Der Iran erhofft sich möglichweise einen neuen Gottesstaat direkt am Mittelmeer. Ein perfekte Basis für Terroranschläge in mit Ziel Europa.Zitat:

Italian oil company Eni said that its largest oil field, known as the Elephant, destroyed by the troops of Muammar Qaddafi, that will complicate a speedy return of Libya to the world market after months of unrest.
