Naja Slime ist gefällt mir persönlich nicht, auch wenn man zugeben muss das sie ein Meilenstein im Deutschen Punk sind. Sind mir zu politisch, es gibt kaum Lieder die sich nicht um Politik drehen. Und auch Lyrisch sind sie mir zu Antideutsch und vor allem ab Schweineherbst kommt das Hippiepunklastige durch.
Eine Band die ich persönlich am Liebsten höre ist ChaosZ, einerseits durchaus Hardcore lastig allerdings auch sehr Melancholisch und Pessimistisch sowie sehr Gesellschaftskritisch(Sind politisch aber eben nicht so aufdringlich und moralisierend wie Slime). Haben auch ihren eigen Stil.

The Exploited ist sehr radikal links was eigentlich auch zu der Band passt. Die meisten Punkbands sind links(allerdings sehr undogmatisch). Allerdings ist die Wichtigkeit von Politik von Band zu Band sehr unterschiedlich. Es gibt Bands da ist Politik das Haupthema bei einigen allerdings ist es eher ein Thema unter vielen. Dann gibt es noch einige unpolitische Bands. Rechte oder Konservative Punkbands sind eher sehr selten, was sich meiner Meinung nach auch nicht wirklich mit Punk verträgt.

Jupp das posieren mit Nazisympolen war auch bei den Sex Pistols sehr berühmt, dabei war zum indestens Sid Antifaschistisch.

Kann ich bestätigen. Er und ein Bandkollege liefen mal auf nem Festival total draufgeschickt vor uns rum. Die erinnerten mich eher an so Raver.
Na ja, zu dem Thema. Es gab schon immer zwei Probleme:
1. dass die Bands der Radikalität ihrer Texte im wahren Leben nicht immer standhielten (gibt da auch lustige Geschichten zu "Slime").
2. und dass man auf der "guten" wie der "bösen" Seite einen Hang zum Feiern und hemmungslosen Drogenkonsum hat und sich dann aus falschen Gründen subkulturell verbrüdert.
Zu hoch hängen würde ich das nicht, aber bei manchen Bands würde ich mehr wünschen, sie würden nicht vorgeben, mehr zu sein als Rockstars mit großem Spass an diesem Leben. Eigentlich eine Ironie des Schicksals, dass Bands wie Exploited ja mal eine Art Gegenentwurf zu Queen, Van Halen & Co. waren. Das ist mit ein Grund, warum ich Hardcore wesentlich mehr schätze.

Dann ergänzen wir das doch noch um die Real McKenzies. Auf Platte wirken sie etwas weniger innovativ. Aber für mich sind sie von den Dreien die beste Live-Band - in Bezug auf Musik und Show.
