Following the scandals for doping which involved the Albanian Weightlifting Federation, where several sportsmen resulted positive in the test a few months ago, there comes another blow.

Albanian weightlifting has been suspended from all international activities for six months. Albania must pay a fine of 50 thousand Euros if it wants to participate in these activities again.

This measure and fine follows the disciplinary measures given against the Albanian weightlifters who resulted positive in the doping tests. Four Albanian sportsmen resulted positive in the world championship held in Kazakhstan last year. /ibna/

Das ist wohl die gerechte Strafe dafür, daß die Albaner technisch (noch) nicht so weit sind, die Dopingmittel so zu dosieren, daß sie nicht mehr nachgewiesen werden können!
